Revue Gouvernance is a peer-reviewed journal that publishes theoretical, empirical and critical articles addressing one or more dimensions of public and social governance in Canada and around the world. Interdisciplinary and multi-methodological, Revue Gouvernance hosts texts of all epistemological and ontological sensitivities, with the dual perspective of enriching positive and normative knowledge about governance, as well as nurturing public debates on the challenges and issues related to its contemporary exercise.

Revue Gouvernance is a bilingual (French/English) journal open to publishing individual articles or special issues that focus on a particular governance theme or on governance in a given region. Each issue contains four individual articles not exceeding 8,000 words each. Individual paper submission guidelines can be found at http://www.erudit.org/public/documents/presentationmanuscritsEN.pdf.  Proposals for special issues should be 2–3 pages in length and include:

  • The title of the proposed special issue;
  • The topic explored (approximately 300 words);
  • The importance of the topic for public administration research or practice (approximately 300 words);
  • A list of the proposed articles and abstracts;
  • A list of all authors.
