D-10: CALL FOR PAPERS
4th International Conference on Public Policy
26th-28th June 2019 - MONTREAL 

 

 

The International Public Policy Association (IPPA) invites paper proposals for the forthcoming 4th International Conference on Public Policy (ICPP), the world leading academic conference on Public Policy. The general conference will take place on June 26-28, 2019 at Concordia University, Montreal.

 

The call for Papers is open until 30th January 2019The ICPP panels invite theoretical, methodological and/or empirical papers on Public Policy to respond to their research questions. You can browse the list of 185 panels to find the panel to which your paper belongs. Read carefully the objectives of the panel and its Call for Papers to grasp the research questions proposed by the panels chairs.

 

To submit a paper, please follow these steps:

  1. Log-in to your account (or create one if you haven't done so previously).
  2. Go to one of these submission pages (2 possible ways) by going to the Conference page and click on the "submit a paper" button
    or, alternatively, by going to the list of panels page and then click on the "submit a paper for this panel" button
  3. Fill the form on the website with the following information:
  • Enter the email addresses of the potential co-authors of your paper. Your co-authors must have created an account before you submit your proposal
  • Choose or confirm your panel choice from the list of panels
  • Type in the title of your paper
  • Add an abstract of the paper (300 to 500 words) explaining your paper project, your research question, your methodology and how it fits with the panel research question 

 

Each author should propose a maximum of 2 proposalsAs the abstract must attempt to answer the issues highlighted as research questions in the panel, the same proposal cannot be sent to two different panels, but to the most relevant one. All proposals which are found to be in duplicate or more will be deleted before the selection process.

Please note that Master's students cannot propose papers. Having a PhD or being PhD candidate is the minimum requirement. Please also note that no paper proposal should be sent via email to the panel chairs or IPPA team.

The final list of selected paper proposals will be announced on 15th February 2019Once your paper proposal has been selected by the panel chairs, you will have to confirm your participation by registering for the conference.

Afterwards, you would be able to upload the full paper - via your user account on the IPPA website - by beginning of June 2019.
