The International Summer School on Public Policy -Venezia-Padova 2018 was held in Venezia and Padova, Italy from 9th -15th July 2018. The summer school was attended by 13 PhD students and young scholars from 10 different countries.

The Summer School offered its participants diverse approaches and research methods to deal with the institutional variable in policy change in a comparative perspective. Lectures were held in the morning by the international scholars, followed by an interactive discussion. In the afternoon, sessions were organised into working groups and visits to Piazza San Marco (Venice), Giotto’s Scrovegni Chapel (Padova) and Palazzo Bo and Anatomical Theatre (Padova)

The 2018 International Summer School on Public Policy Venezia-Padova featured four distinguished international scholars:

Mike Howlett  Burnaby Mountain Chair in the Department of Political Science at Simon Fraser University and Professor in the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy at the National University of Singapore. 

Anthony R. Zito Professor of European Public Policy at Newcastle University.

Giliberto Capano Professor of Public Policy at the University of Bologna.

Claire Dunlop Professor of Politics and Public Policy at the University of Exeter.
