This course intends to cover the theoretical, conceptual, research and practical aspects of wicked problems; how researchers can embrace and incorporate complexity and uncertainty into their research designs; how they can center applied policy research, partnerships and methods; and how using this approach to public policy research across a range of policy areas/examples can develop new insights and strategies for tackling wicked public policy problems.
