The Department of Asian and Policy Studies, Faculty of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences at the Education University of Hong Kong is a leading centre for policy research and teaching in the region.
The department’s mission is to equip students to be life-long learners, to develop technical, analytical and the critical skills necessary to meet Asia’s policy and developmental challenges, and to be agents of change that contribute to social betterment. It aims to create positive change through undergraduate and graduate education, the pursuit of innovative policy studies and active public engagement that respond to the changing needs of vulnerable individuals and groups in Asia and beyond.
