IPPA and the University of Padova jointly organize the "International Summer School on Public Policy -Venezia-Padova". The summer school was launched in 2018 and has two editions. Its aim is to offer an opportunity for PhD students and early-career researchers to advance their research, enhance their methodological skills and extend their knowledge on various theories, and approaches to understand and analyze public policy.

The Summer School is a one-week intensive program for research and analysis and each year it focuses on a specific topic. The schedule of the summer school typically includes lecture sessions taught by renowned international scholars in the public policy field, as well as workshop sessions that allow participants to discuss their research projects or articles and get valuable feedback from both the teachers and their peers.

This summer school is sponsored by the Standing Group of the Italian Political Science Association.
