CALL FOR PAPERS IS OPEN UNTIL 30TH JANUARY 2018
 

We are pleased to invite you to submit a paper proposal to the 1st International Workshops on Public Policy. Organised by the International Public Policy Association, the Workshops will take place in Pittsburgh, from 26th-28th June 2018. We have selected 22 Workshops which cover different topics and research questions on Policy Field. The purpose of these workshops is to allow 15-20 scholars per workshop to come together to hold in-depth discussions of papers on policy research issues. 

 

Please browse the list of workshops to find the workshop to which your paper belongs.

 

To participate to one of these workshops, you need to propose an abstract of your paper proposal which will be reviewed by the workshops' chairs. You paper proposal should address  the research questions contained in the workshop description found on our website. Your abstract must contain at least 500 words to explain precisely what is your research questions, how this research question contributes to the research question of the workshop, what is the main contain of your paper, what is your methodology and all the details you consider important enough to support your project.  

 

To propose a paper, please:

1.  Log-in to your account (or create one if you haven't done so previously) 

 

2. Go to the Workshop you are interested in and click on "Submit a paper for this workshop" 

 

3. Complete the online form with the following information :

  a. The email(s) of the co-author(s) (all co-authors must have an account in the system),

  b. The title of your paper,

  c. An abstract of the paper (500 to 800 words) explaining your paper project, your research question, your methodology and how it fits with the workshops topic chosen.

 

Please note that you can address only one paper proposal for the Pittsburgh event. Each participant chooses and attends one workshop where (s)he will present her/his paper during the 3 days of the event. You cannot submit paper proposal in two different workshops.

The selection of the papers for each workshop will occur after the end of the call for papers (30th January) and notice will be sent the 15th February. If your proposal is selected, full papers are to be uploaded to IPPA website no later than 1st June. You must also register and pay Workshops fees as soon as possible following receipt of notification of selection in order to remain in the program.
