The First edition of the Seoul International Summer School on Public Policy marked a significant milestone as it was the first time IPPA hosted an event in Asia. This inaugural event took place from 21 to 25 August 2023. The primary goal of the Summer School remained unchanged: to provide guidance and knowledge to Ph.D. students and young scholars on theories, concepts, and methodologies related to Public Policy, enhancing their ability to analyze public policy effectively.
This Summer School was interactive and delivered by renowned international scholars namely, Grace Skogstad (University of Toronto), M Ramesh (National University of Singapore), and Philippe Zittoun (University of Lyon). 38 participants attended this first edition, including 31 from Asia, 5 from Europe, and 2 from North America.
The Seoul Summer School on Public Policy is sponsored by the BK 21 FOUR and GMeGM of the Department of Public Policy and Management as well as the Graduate School of Yonsei University.
