After a successful first edition in 2023, IPPA is pleased to announce the third edition of the Nairobi Summer School, scheduled to take place from April 27 to May 1, 2026. The International Summer School on Public Policy - Nairobi Edition 2026 will be hosted in partnership with the University of Nairobi.

The Summer School aims to provide the opportunity for PhD. students and early career researchers to advance their knowledge of Public Policy theories, concepts, and methodologies. The Summer School will offer each participant the opportunity to follow:

  • course of 2 hours every morning, proposed by two different international scholars, addressed to a small group of participants of 10 to 15 participants
  • Workshop groups in the afternoon to discuss the research project of each participant, addressed to small groups of 10 to 15 participants

The courses will be taught by 3 internationally renowned policy scholars: Joseph Obosi (University of Nairobi), Evangelia Petridou (NTNU Social Research, Norway & Mid Sweden University) and Philippe Zittoun (University of Lyon, France).
