On this page, you will find information about Nairobi.
Nairobi is the capital and largest city of Kenya, located in the central part of the country. It's a vibrant and diverse city known for being a major hub of commerce, culture, and technology in East Africa. Nairobi is unique because it's one of the few cities in the world with a national park, Nairobi National Park, situated just outside the city center, where visitors can see wildlife like lions, giraffes, and zebras against the backdrop of city skyscrapers.
How to reach Nairobi?
Nairobi is easily accessible thanks to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA), one of the main aviation hubs in East Africa. The airport offers direct connections to numerous African countries, as well as to Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and North America.
Most foreign nationals traveling to Kenya require a visa. We invite you to check whether you require a visa and how to apply under this link. In any case, we suggest you contact the Kenyan Embassy of your country as early as possible.
*Note that this information is given by IPPA for informational purposes only, being exempt from any responsibility in the VISA process. We kindly remind you that we will provide you with an attendance letter just after your registration payment.
There are currently no requirements in terms of vaccination made by Kenyan authorities. It is advisable to consult your doctor or an international vaccination center to assess your state of health and receive health recommendations, particularly regarding the necessary vaccinations before visiting Kenya. However, we encourage you to take a deeper look into official recommendations, such as yellow fever vaccination.
