Co-organized with FGV EASP, the Latin American School of Public Policy – São Paulo Edition 2026 will take place from November 30 to December 4, 2026, in São Paulo.

The School aims to provide the opportunity for Ph.D. students and early career researchers to advance their knowledge of Public Policy theories, concepts, and methodologies. Students will participate in workshops/case studies where they will be able to discuss their research projects and receive feedback from both their peers and acclaimed scholars of public policy.

During the five-day School, participants will have the opportunity to take part in the following activities:

  • Lectures delivered by scholars affiliated with the host university, introducing key public policy approaches, concepts, and theories;
  • A specialised course led by an international scholar. Participants are assigned to one of the three courses based on the preferences they indicate in their application
  • Workshop sessions held in the same group and led by the same professor as the morning courses. These interactive session provide participants with the opportunity to present their own research and receive feedback from both peers and the professor, or to take part in case study discussions and other collaborative activities.

All plenary lectures will be delivered in English. This edition offers three specialised courses. One course will be taught in English, one in Spanish, and one in Portuguese.

As participants will attend only one of these courses, we strongly encourage you to read the course descriptions carefully and take the language of instruction into account when indicating your course preferences in your application.

Call for Applications will open August 25, 2026!
