The First edition of the Chiang Mai International Winter School on Public Policy was held from 27 November to 01 December 2023 at the Chiang Mai University in Thailand.
The Winter School aimed to provide the opportunity for the 26 Ph.D. students and Early Career Researchers (22 from Asia, 2 from Europe, 1 from Oceania, and 1 from South America) who attended this event to advance their knowledge of Public Policy theories, concepts, and methodologies. They took part in workshops where they discussed their research projects and received feedback from both their peers and acclaimed scholars of public policy. The Winter School courses were delivered by renowned international scholars namely, Surachanee "Hammerli" Sriyai (School of Public Policy, Chiang Mai University), M Ramesh (National University of Singapore), and Philippe Zittoun (University of Lyon).
