The Melbourne School of Government (MSoG) at the University of Melbourne invites proposals for papers relevant to the topic: ‘The Crisis of Expertise and the Making of Public Policy’. MSoG invite the submission of abstracts on topics pertinent to our 2018 conference themes. The Melbourne School of Government (MSoG) is interested in contributions both from scholars and policy practitioners. MSoG encourage submissions from all disciplines and across disciplines, including explorations of policymaking in particular cases (such as health, environment, energy and so on) and how expertise has been deployed and contested within these. We also encourage submissions addressing some of the issues of expertise more conceptually.

Innovation and experimentation related to re-thinking expertise & policymaking

msog-conference@unimelb.edu.au .
Abstracts are to be a maximum of 300 words. Authors of accepted abstracts will be given a speaking slot at the conference to present their paper. The conference will take place in Melbourne on 15th&16th February 2018.
