IWPP6 Call for Bids

The International Workshops on Public Policy are the main intensive academic event hosted by the International Public Policy Association (IPPA) in collaboration with local partners. The IWPP serves as an international and pluralized platform for scholars from around the globe to discuss their latest research and to work collectively on a shared research questionEach IWPP brings together a rich and diverse set of workshops led by internationally recognized scholars. Hosting the International Workshops on Public Policy (IWPP) offers significant benefits for your institution by enhancing internationalization and global visibility. Partnering with the IPPA provides direct engagement with a diverse global network of scholars, broadening your institutional horizons.

Following the successful organization of four editions in 2018, 2022, and 2024, each attracting around 300 to 350 participants from across the globe, and with an upcoming edition taking place in Ottawa in 2026, IPPA is pleased to announce that the call for bids is now open for hosting the next edition of the International Workshops on Public Policy (IWPP6). The next edition will be organized in 2029.

Institutions interested in becoming the local host must submit a letter of intent by March 31st, 2026, at the latest. Preselected institutions will complete their bids and organize a site visit for the IPPA jury.
