Call for expressions of interest: Environmental Politics is seeking a new Editor to join our core editorial team.

Environmental Politics is an international, interdisciplinary, peer-reviewed journal spanning the fields of political science, political sociology, and political theory. The journal provides a forum for the publication of original research into, and discussion and analysis of, the diverse theoretical and empirical aspects of environmental politics. The journal's 2019 Impact Factor is 4.320, ranking 3/180 in Political Science, and 21/123 in Environmental Studies.

The journal is recruiting an additional member whose areas of expertise complement those of the growing editorial team. At this time, we are seeking an editor with expertise in the politics of environmental policymaking and administration, and how these dynamics interact with politics and governance at all scales, from local to global, and in all spheres of politics.

Responsibilities of Editors include:
● Evaluating submissions and soliciting appropriate reviewers;
● Managing content through the journal's online platform;
● Participating in regular meetings of the core editorial team;
● Working with Guest Editors to oversee publication of special issues;
● Representing the journal in conferences and other forums;
● Collaborating to provide strategic guidance for the journal.

We welcome expressions of interest from established scholars of environmental politics from any higher education institution. We strongly encourage applications from members of historically underrepresented groups and those whose intersectional identities and perspectives position them to support the editorial team’s commitment to an inclusive conception of environmental politics
scholarship.

The journal’s Aims and Scope, and the current membership of the editorial team and Editorial Advisory Board, are available at: tandfonline.com/fenp

The publisher provides editors with a modest stipend.

Please send expressions of interest (no more than 2 pages), along with a brief CV, to John M. Meyer, Editor-in-Chief, (environmental-politics@humboldt.edu). Reviews will begin on 1 December 2020. Applications will be considered until the position is filled.
