JSGS, part of the University of Saskatchewan, is seeking a distinguished researcher to fill the Tier 1 Canada Research Chair in Public Policy in a Polarized Era. The position will focus on exploring the complex dynamics of political polarization and how it impacts evidence-based policy development. The successful candidate will lead research efforts to improve public policy frameworks, enhance public engagement, and train students to address the challenges posed by a polarized political landscape. This CRC will also contribute to interdisciplinary collaborations and expand policy tools through partnerships with government bodies.

The ideal candidate will have a strong research background in political science, public administration, economics, or a related field, with a proven track record of excellence in research and teaching. The successful candidate will also be committed to equity, diversity, and inclusion in research and teaching.

 

Deadline: Applications will be reviewed starting September 2024, and the position is open until filled. The anticipated start date is July 1, 2026.
