The International Public Policy Association (IPPA) invites interested institutions to submit a bid to host the 6th International Conference on Public Policy (ICPP6).


After successfully organizing the past 4 editions of the conference, ICPP1 (Science Po Grenoble 2013 - 950 Participants), ICPP2 (Eupolis & Catholic University of Milan 2015 - 1300 participants), ICPP3 (Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, Singapore 2017 - 1300 participants), ICPP4 (Concordia University, Montreal 2019 -1300 participants) and upcoming ICPP5 (IBEI, Barcelona), IPPA is pleased to launch the call for bids for its 6th International Conference on Public Policy to be held in June/July 2023. 


Following the requests, the submission deadline has been extended to 31 January 2021.


The ICPP6 host selection process will be divided into the following 4 steps:


  1. CALL FOR BIDS (October 1 – January 31, 2021)
  2. SHORTLISTING (February 1 – February 12, 2021): A jury, comprised of three Executive Committee members (the President, the General Secretary, and the Treasurer) will evaluate the proposals and will shortlist 2 to 3 suitable proposals
  3. SITE VISITS (May 1 – June 1, 2021): The jury will visit the shortlisted locations. 
  4. ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE ICPP6 HOST (July 2021): After the site visits, the jury will present the options during the IPPA's College meeting, and will announce the winner during the ICPP5 in Barcelona. 


How to submit a bid?

The first step is to download the Call for Bids (you can download the document by clicking on the image). This document provides detailed information about what is expected and the requirements needed for your proposal.



Once you have created the proposal, you need to follow the below steps:

  1.  Log in or create an IPPA user account
  2. Once logged in, click on the "I want to apply" button on top of this page
  3. Submit your application in one PDF document titled as Callforbids2023_Name of your institution
