The International Summer School on Public Policy - Brasilia 1st Edition was organized in collaboration with ENAP, University of Brazilia, and FLACSO from 28 November to 2 December 2016.This Summer School was part of the programming academic of the Ibero-american School of Public Policy and Administration (EIAPP), with the support of the Latin American Faculty of Social Sciences (FLACSO) and was opened to PhD students and civil servants from Brazil and other countries of Latin America.
The program consisted of seminar opening, three simultaneous short courses - with classes and workshops - and round-table at the end. The courses aimed at the theoretical and methodological improvement of public policy analysis, seeking to contribute to the advancement of knowledge on experiences and new perspectives posed by the reality of relations between state and society. The objective was to built their skills in conceptualising policy problems and devising strategies to address them comprehensively. The three courses included in this Summer School were presented by Philippe Zittoun, M Ramesh and Guy Peters in particular.
As there was no simultaneous translation required the student to prove fluency in English for participation in the course, through the course completion certificate presentation or proficiency certificate.
