Professor of Practice in Public Administration Program :

The School of Economics, Administration and Public Policy invites applications for a Professor of Practice in Public Administration.

The position is designed for an accomplished senior practitioner or academic practitioner with substantial leadership experience and demonstrated impact in public administration, public policy, governance, public-sector management, public service delivery, or related areas. The successful candidate will play a central role in connecting academic learning with the realities of public-sector practice, particularly in the education and professional development of executive and experienced students. The candidate is expected to bring substantial professional experience into the classroom through hands-on and problem-based learning, real policy and management cases, simulations, policy drafting, strategic and institutional analysis, and engagement with current public-sector challenges. Beyond teaching, the Professor of Practice will help strengthen the program's engagement with government and public institutions by developing partnerships, facilitating practitioner participation in teaching and applied projects, supporting executive education and capacity-building initiatives, and contributing to projects aimed at improving public institutions, public-sector performance, policy implementation, and the quality and effectiveness of public services. The position is open to candidates whose distinction derives from a senior career in government, international organizations, public-sector institutions, consulting or other relevant professional settings, as well as academic practitioners with substantial applied experience.

Open Rank - Public Administration Program :

The School of Economics, Administration and Public Policy invites applications for a faculty position in Public Administration at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor rank.

The program seeks scholars with a strong, coherent, and internationally oriented research agenda in public administration, public management, governance, public policy, public-sector reform, public service delivery, or related fields, with particular strength in quantitative empirical research. The successful candidate will contribute actively to the program's research productivity, international scholarly visibility, and master's and doctoral supervision. Research addressing contemporary public-sector and governance challenges, particularly in the Arab region and comparative contexts, is especially valued.

Candidates must be proficient in Arabic and able to teach, conduct research, and communicate effectively in English.

Both applications are ending on December 15, 2026. For more information about the job description and how to apply, please click on this link.
