Association for Public Policy Analysis and Management

The Association for Public Policy Analysis and Management (APPAM) is the premier professional association for the public policy research community. Its 3,400 individual members include academics, practitioners, and students, while its 100 institutional members represent leading graduate and undergraduate schools of public policy and management, as well as top research organizations and think tanks.

APPAM convenes the field through its flagship annual research conference, which draws 2,500 attendees, and through a wide range of programs throughout the year, including undergraduate public policy camps, mentorship opportunities, forums, special events, and virtual offerings. The association also supports the professional growth of its members through awards, fellowships, and community groups, and publishes the field’s leading scholarly journal, the Journal of Policy Analysis and Management (JPAM).
