6th International Conference in Public Policy (ICPP6)

The 6th International Conference on Public Policy (ICPP6) comes to Toronto!

Organized by IPPA, ICPP6 is hosted by the Toronto Metropolitan University's Faculty of Arts and Public Policy graduate studies programs and will take place at the University's premises in downtown Toronto from June 27 to 29, 2023, with a Pre-Conference on June 26. This is the first year of GS-PPRN and also our inaugural panel session titled, 'Decolonization of Public Policy in the Global South'

The Global South Public Policy Research Network (GS-PPRN) invites you to participate in our panel T14P03 Decolonizing Climate Policy in The Global South: Structural Changes in Policy Making

Through this panel session, GS-PPRN begins its maiden journey that places specific emphasis on climate policy - how it is undertaken in the Global South as a bottom-up, community-led, indigenous, decentralized policy approaches to combat climate change challenges. Our session hosts eminent and rising research scholars from various states of the Global South (India, Pakistan, Cameroon, Brazil) which spans across geographies.

GS-PPRN  is the new pedagogical and professional platform under IPPA that provides space for transnational and international collaborations, interactions and comparative studies across the Global South, especially on emerging global public policy issues such as climate change, environmental policies, global health, migration policy issues, education, global curricula, technology and knowledge, and other issues that concerns the material lived environments of communities of the Global South.
