Democratic Governance and the Policy Process

The summer school will begin on Monday, June 15, in Venice and will continue throughout the week at the University of Padua.

For the rest of the week, the days will mostly be organized as follows:

• • • In the morning, lecture sessions are held by internationally renowned scholars followed by an interactive discussion on specific topics
    • In the afternoon, there will be workshops during which participants will present their papers and receive feedback from other participants and the professor

Purpose of the Summer School: Democratic Governance and the Policy Process

The summer school titled "Policy Dynamics and Effectiveness" is designed for PhD students interested in exploring cutting-edge research on public policy. The program will feature internationally renowned scholars, including:

    • Eva Sorenson (Roskilde University, Denmark) – Co-creation and democratic governance
    • Jacob Torfing (Roskilde University, Denmark) – Collaborative governance and policy robustness
