How to get to Downtown Ottawa from the Airport

Ottawa International Airport is located about 10 kilometers from the city center. Upon arrival, several options are available depending on your preferences (and budget):

    • Taxi or ride-sharing service: This is the easiest and fastest way to reach Ottawa. The journey takes approximately 20 minutes (depending on traffic) and costs between CAD 35 and CAD 50. Taxis and ride-share pick-up points are clearly indicated at the Arrivals level. For ride-sharing services, you can use either Uber or Lyft
    • Public Transportation: The OC Transpo bus line 97 connects the airport directly to the city center in about 25 to 30 minutes. A single ticket costs CAD 3.75. Buses run approximately every 15 minutes during the day (less frequently in the evening). You can visit the OC Transpo website to access the scheduled hours and maps here.
