Joseph Obosi

My name is Joseph Okeyo Obosi, a lecturer at the department of Political Science and Public Administration, University of Nairobi, Kenya. I hold a holder of Doctor of Philosophy degree in Political Science & Public Administration. I teach, supervise students, and research in Public Policy, Public Administration and Comparative Politics. I do hereby submit my application for your support to serve you as a college member of the International Public Policy Association for the period 2017-2021. My experience covers 22 years of public policy practice and six years as an active academic. I am also a public policy researcher and consultant. With your support to the college office, I will aspire to bring with me the desire for collegiality with a view to extending active membership to the Africa continent and members across other continents as global and necessary partners. My appreciation is that public policy can be best appreciated by looking at various practices across various socio-economic, cultural and political environments for a synergized approach which will enrich this discipline. This will provide an avenue for partnerships in research amongst peers, mentors and mentees. I am inspired to share a platform with great names in Public Policy. Thank you.
