Dears I´m Associate professor at the Federal University of Bahia (UFBA)- Brazil, in the Graduate Program in Public Administration from the School of Administration UFBA. I had PhD in Political Science from the University of São Paulo (2003), and was Visiting Scholar in Lyndon Johnson School of Public Affairs from the University of Texas at Austin (2011-2012). My areas of work are theoretical and methodological focus on Institutional Analysis and Comparative Studies, the main research themes - Metropolitan Governance, Social Capital, Citizenship, Local and City Governance. I ´m author of "Municipal Governance and Social Participation in Brazil: The Path of Recife and Salvador (1986-2000)" published by Annablume and FAPESP Publishers in 2004. I had published in co-authorship, Organizational Climate in Public Administration from Fundação Getúlio Vargas Publisher in 2010. He has organized as co-authored in 2011 the Collection Public Governance in Rio Grande do Norte: Experiences in Analysis by EDUFRN. He is currently vice-coordinator of NPGA / EA-UFBA and I´m mmber and leader of theme in Brazilian Association in Research and Post Graduate in Administration. In current moment I teach Public Policy and UFBA (under graduate and graduate programs) and my research treat about governmental inter-relations in municipalities - Metropolitan areas and consortias. In this projects we works with quantitative and qualitative methodologies. The project envolve three unversities - UFBA, UNB and FGV. The most recent publication is "Does Metropolitan Area Management Matter in Brazil?" publisher in 2016 in disP - The Planning Review, 205 · 52.2 (2/2016) with Denilson Bandeira Coelho (UNB) - member of IPPA (2017-2019) and Suely Araújo. My interest in become member is in represent Brazil in this important Association that will be very important to Brazil.
