BUENOS AIRES welcomes you to the 2023 IPSA World Congress of Political Science

 

The IPSA World Congress of Political Science provides IPSA members with a one-of-a-kind opportunity to network with global scholars and experts.

The 2023 IPSA World Congress of Political Science will be held at the Pontifical Catholic University of Argentina in Buenos Aires as an onsite event from 15 to 19 July 2023 with a limited number of virtual only panels under the theme Politics in the Age of Transboundary Crises.

You can still attend the 2023 IPSA World Congress!

If you missed the paper submission deadline, you can still attend this international gathering as an “Observer”. This category will be for those who do not have a role in the program and wish to attend sessions online or in person. The Observer registration category is open to non-IPSA members. More information will be available on the Congress website closer to the event.

Authored by some of the most outstanding academics in the IPSA community, IPSAMOOC is a joint project from IPSA and Federica WebLearning that offers free online political science courses. Since its launch in 2016, over 75,000 people worldwide have benefited from IPSAMOOC’s courses. IPSAMOOCs are available in English and Spanish.

To help students hone their methodological skillset and establish connections with peers from all over the world, IPSA collaborates with local universities worldwide since 2010 to organize summer schools in methodology. Presently, IPSA offers five annual summer schools: Singapore, Mexico City, St. Petersburg, Antalya, and Capri.

PUBLICATIONS

 

Published five times per year, the International Political Science Review (IPSR) is committed to publishing peer-reviewed articles that significantly contribute to political science. Published six times per year, the International Political Science Abstracts is a global resource, providing non-evaluative abstracts of articles published in scholarly journals from every region of the world. 

Since 2009, IPSA publishes the Gender and Diversity Monitoring Report, a gender and diversity monitoring survey to track status of women and cultural communities in political science and strengthen their role in scientific research and organizations. 

Edited by Kim Fontaine-Skronski, Valériane Thool, and Norbert Eschborn, Does the UN Model Still Work? Challenges and Prospects for the Future of Multilateralism is composed of original articles from scholars and policy notes from practitioners based on the contributions to the Conference “The UN at 75: Challenges and Prospects for the Future of Multilateralism” organized by IPSA in 2020.
